Azealia Banks - Yung Rapunxel

Azealia Banks has been getting a lot of press lately for all the wrong reasons, but this morning she’s back to using her acerbic tongue for good on her new single, Yung Rapunxel.

With abrasive production from Lil Internet, the track comes in throwing punches to defend Azealia’s title as one of the most exciting rappers of the last few years. The result is something that comes off a little over-cooked and insecure, though, with a lack of hooks and the noise-submerged vocal leaving a bland taste. The single is slated for release on the 26th March, but you can stream it below now.
